Many began to wonder whether or not Paula Abdul would be yanked off “American Idol” after her big blunder last week. However, it seems this isn’t going to happen. The Associated Press contacted the big boss, Cecile Frot-Coutaz replied:

“Why would we get rid of Paula? I love that everyone was talking about it. It was so unexpected. It was something that took up 2 seconds of airtime. You’d think there was no other news on television. We thought it would be a good opportunity for the judges to give the contestants a good kick in the butt and tell them they were going to have to kick it up a notch for the second song. That decision happened during the live broadcast. It was at the very last minute, so Paula wasn’t planning on doing any judging.”

Course not, they want her to stick around so more people will watch for that next big oops moment. You know this brings in the viewers. What did you think of the show?

The word is that Paula Abdul was drunk on American Idol. As it has been reported she was busted having a few drinks that same afternoon before American Idol aired that evening. At the afternoon lunch, she was really giddy and an assistant had to shut her up to keep from from saying things that would have gotten recorded and spread on the Internet and news.

In the video I watched, she actually stumbled a little bit and one of  her assistances had to help her keep her balance. I personally think she is on drugs. In the video she is chewing gum but her jaw kept tweaking left and right like a crack head.

Later in the video she got real confused and couldn’t remember the Ryan’s, Simon’s and Randy’s name. Absolutely terrible… she was drunk as a skunk.

Later that evening on American Idol, Paula screwed up by admitting that she thought one of the contestants sang twice. Everyone seemed to down play it including Ryan, as if they knew the deal and had to protect the integrity of the show.
